Activity: Make a Paper Stonehenge (Twinkl)

You can download an easy but very effective papercraft model of Stonehenge from the teacher's resource website Twinkl. The model consists of two sheets of A4 paper to colour print, you will also need glue, scissors and (if you want to keep the model for a while or transport it) perhaps a paper plate or circle of packaging cardboard to stick the base onto for sturdiness.

The trick to keep this simple is to fold and glue the strips with the stones on them first, to make them double sided, then once they are dry to cut the excess "sky" away - don't get your five year old involved trying to cut awkward shaped holes out of the centre of a sheet of paper or it will go wrong.
