I bought this in a charity shop and can confirm that I have checked it out and it is actually child-safe (I wasn't 100% sure given the topic and the cover art).
It doesn't actually look like the world's most exciting game, basically you repeatedly take turns to lay cards numbered 1-10 on a discard pile until the pile adds up to 100 (with various tweaks introduced by wild cards named after the other gods), but I am hoping it will pass 15 minutes on the train to London on our British Museum trip.
Obviously it is all Greek gods and goddesses, but I have written the Roman names on little sticky labels and stuck them on the appropriate cards too....
